How much wood has piled up?
Control the entire processing operation with the Production Planning and Control Module: Use the module to manage the preparatory work of your round timber stock all the way through to cutting at the sawmill stage. Our interfaces will of course also be at your disposal for all measuring and Optimization systems for this.





Organize your sorting programs
You can compile your own specific sorting program with the Round Timber Sorting Module for the round timber site thus ensuring organised sorting of your round timber into boxes.







Early warning system for round timber
With the Cutting Module it will be possible for you to work out any conceivable cutting program for your stock of timber Plies and to recognise on time, if this stock is running over due to a shortage of orders or whether it will not be sufficient for scheduled production.






Will cutting pay off?
Compile a production order for all cutting done at the sawmill using the Production Order Module. On the basis of the round timber information filed, as well as images on cutting associated with this, you will be able to determine yields and proceeds – even before the system transfers the information. The system gives notification of side products accumulating as stock inventory – in so doing it can be marketed even before the start of production.




Is a finishing touch worth it?
The Business Order Module will manage further processing for you (re-cutting, sorting, planing). It takes into account all information related to the product such as:
coordinating operational guidelines for packages and bundling,
initiating printing of the parcel label and
transferring via interface all information to further processing plants.




Blowing off steam
With the Drying Orders Module you can process your sawn timber further. Using suitable interfaces our software transfers all the parameters to your drying rooms. Extensive analyses on the performance of the drying rooms will enable you to optimize this aspect of the finishing process.





How are the operational capacities programmed?
With the Shift Calendar Module, daily profiles can be defined freely and collated into weekly profiles. From this, Timber Commerce can establish an uninterrupted shift calendar as the basis of its potential technical and personnel capacities – this means your answers to queries regarding deadline orders are only a mouse click away.





Efficient Scheduling
You can take control of and have a good overview of complex project processes with the System Workload/Scheduling Module. It can also:

visualize complex projects,
demonstrate the interdependencies of the individual production areas and
taking the delivery deadline into account, make possible the optimal planning of the finer details of your production orders on time.




On time production
With the Production Control Module you link your sale directly to your preparatory work: Here you will make pre-selections according to specific criteria from the customer orders filed with Timber Commerce and allocate these to the production plants: Your staff in the preparatory work department will specifically receive the orders in the sequence in which they are to be completed.





Daily decision making support
The Cost Overview Module will allow you to capture guidelines for controlling from the annual work programme. In turn this will allow you to determine possible consequences from deviations from the planned values.
Take responsibility for the values actually achieved on production unit level and contrast these directly with your planning.
This ongoing process will allow you to react to deviations even on short notice, as well as to compile adapted forecasts.




Let a central thread run through your production process
The Product Family Tree Module allows you to describe the complete path of a product in production – from the round timber, through cutting and finishing, all the way through to the final product ready for sale. This module supplies the necessary information on yield, quantities, quality and market value of the products generated and serves as an important operational decision-making barometer to help you determine the best time to sell the product.




An overview at the speed of light
Using the Fast Input Module, link a standard cross section with the desired product order in advance – based on the product family tree the software will provide you with a complete pre-calculation.







Do the proceeds tally?
The Pre-Calculation Module will allow you to determine the marginal return from your production plants based on round timber prices, product prices and cost rates –in several stages.




How did it go?
The Post Calculation Module replaces the quantities determined theoretically up until now with the actual values from production, either captured manually or via interface derived directly from the sorting or packaging plants.
This module also takes into account the quantities and quality of the sawmill by-products (bark, chips, filings) that enter into the equation when calculating your proceeds.
The module is able to determine your machine costs from the volumes produced and actual production duration.



Stay on top of things
We have conceptualised the Production Overview Module for you for pure analysis – use it to compare your pre-calculation with your post-calculation, view both separately or call up the complete history of an order.
Select specific reference points (production plant, time periods) and compile a production overview with all the important operating figures relating to yield, price or marginal return. Conduct a dynamic analysis based on current market prices.



Sell like a pro
To execute your sales professionally we offer an efficient ERP solution with the Sales Module Pro: Its features include freely configurable functions with which you can program your order management very efficiently. Numerous statistical tools are at your disposal for the analysis.
The module comprises price management including discounts and volume discounts even to customer level: As soon as a new order is drawn up, the software will inspect the customer’s credit limit and indicate the customer’s current activity. You can also call up prices for the given situation, as well as view the delivery status of specific items. You can file pdf, email, Word, Excel or image documents together with every receipt or customer – in so doing you maintain your central data pool.



Keep the tills ringing!
In the case of the Cash Module a complete selling system is dealt with based on the Windows operating system. It is especially suited to our customers who already have a point of sale (POS) installed and offer direct sales from there.
By connecting to the Sales Module of Timber Commerce, the Cash Module accesses the maintained item-related and customer master data directly.
The system supports the usual payment procedures and of course also includes the management of checks.
